The ratio of cement mortar

- Apr 19, 2018-

The proportioning design of cement mortar should be determined according to the strength and consistency requirements of our construction. Of course, we must also pay attention to the types of cement, coarse and fine aggregates, and additives used. Only when you have a lot of parameters can you determine the cement mortar ratio. The following are several conventional cement mortar ratios.

1.M5 cement mortar ratio

First of all, it needs to reach the basic construction level. Then prepare the sand and other materials. The sand moisture content here needs 2.5%. The actual cement strength: 32.5 MPa. With proportion: cement: medium sand = 1: 5.23. 67.59 Kg of cement and 354 Kg of medium sand. (M3 cement mortar is 0.238m3 per cubic meter of brick masonry)

2.M7.5 cement mortar ratio

General preparation conditions are the same as those of M5 cement mortar. The actual cement strength requirement is also 32.5 MPa with the proportion: cement: medium sand = 1:4.82. Cement 77.31Kg; medium sand 373Kg. (In each cubic meter of brickwork, M7.5 cement mortar is required to be 0.251m3)

3.M15 cement mortar ratio

The cement mortar ratio of strength class M15 has the following requirements: Raw materials Cement, medium sand, river sand, and water. The amount of material per 1m2/kg 320 1450 310-330. With proportion: Cement: Medium sand = 1: 5.27.

4.M20 cement mortar

The cement mortar ratio of strength class M20 has the following requirements: Raw materials: Grade 32.5 cement, medium sand, and water. The amount of material per 1m2/kg 360 1450 310-330. With proportion: Cement: Medium sand = 1:4.03.
